/ April 5, 2012It will be a difficult call, to be sure. I think I may give out maybe four ebooks now rather than just two.

/ October 17, 2011Hey,
I just finished listening to Bone Machines and I absolutely loved it.
Because I am not a native speaker (I’m German), it was hard for me to understand anything due to the Scottish accent. But I got used to it and after listening to the first episode twice I had no problem at all and really got to like the sound of your voice.
As Joseph, I wondered a bit about the head injury and how it was possible for the artist to recapture caroline and disappear.
Apart from that I really liked the story and finished listening to it in only a few days, even though it is really exhausting for me to listen to English stuff and I have to concentrate a lot.
I hope there will be some other podiobooks by you in the future.
Regards,
Hanna

/ October 19, 2011Thanks so much, Hanna. I particularly appreciate your comments since English is not your native language. You can, though, get the ebook of Bone Machines free from smashwords.com, or from justimagineitink.com, should you wish to check back on any of the text you didn’t pick up. John

/ July 3, 2011Hi, Just want to let you know that your “Bone Machines” is an outstanding piece of work…Brilliant! I have been listening to audiobooks all my life (fic & Non-fic), the past 18 years every day while I work from home, so I can assure that I’m a bit of a connoisseur – this genre is one of my personal favourites and YOU HAVE GOT THE GOODS – Thankyou. I’m hoping I can purchase the audio version – can’t seem to find this option…PLEASE HELP!
Regards,
Toli (Scottiegirl)

/ July 3, 2011Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. No commercial audio as yet, only the free podiobook. However, the ebook is available from smashwords.com, and my latest anthology of historical and supernatural romance, Warriors and Wenches, is just out. You can catch free podcasts of some of my shorts, too: Dr North’s Wound Crossing the Border, and Rapunzel’s Room. The follow up to Bone Machines, Kali’s Kiss, also featuring DI Tom Kendrick, is written, and is out for consideration with an audiobook company right now.

/ April 16, 2011Loved Bone Machines, just finished listening to it. Realistic characters with good depth. Just one question about the ending. It seemed that the villain was quite injured but somehow manages to complete her art project and disappear. I’m not sure how that happens with the injuries as described. I’m not being critical because like I said love the book and looking forward to more or your audio books.

/ April 20, 2011The villain was injured, you are quite right, Joseph. But not badly enough to prevent recapturing Caroline. Maybe I should have explained a little more, or had Morrell do a patch job on the wound. Still, glad you enjoyed the book so much. Regards, John
